This chart is intended to be used for two things:
- Charting opposing pitchers during games and getting a feel for their tendencies in certain counts.
- Catchers charting of MLB pitchers to get a feel and develop skills and concepts for calling a game. Obviously there are many differences between the MLB game and amateur baseball but it can still challenge catchers to think through sequences and concepts. I highly recommend this practice to anybody serious about catching.
